1. Overview
Brothers Revenue GTM is a marketing and go-to-market consultancy that helps clients audit, manage, and report on Google Ads performance. This page describes how we use the Google Ads API within our internal tooling, what data we access, and how that data is protected.
Our internal tool — Brothers Revenue GTM Google Ads MCP Management — connects to Google Ads accounts exclusively on behalf of clients who have explicitly authorized access. We treat access to client advertising data as a serious responsibility and operate accordingly.
2. Purpose of Google Ads API Access
We use the Google Ads API to support client-authorized reporting, auditing, validation, and planning workflows. As our processes mature, the tool may also support controlled, operator-reviewed campaign management actions.
3. Supported Capabilities
The tool is designed to support the following API capability areas as defined by the Google Ads API Basic Access framework:
4. Campaign Types Supported
The tool is designed to work with the following Google Ads campaign types:
5. Data Accessed
Through the Google Ads API, our tool accesses data within client-authorized accounts, including:
- Campaign structure, settings, and status
- Ad group, keyword, and ad configuration
- Performance metrics (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, etc.)
- Conversion tracking configuration and results
- Keyword and search term reports
- Budget and bidding configuration
- Asset and extension data
Data is accessed only from accounts where the client has granted explicit authorization via OAuth 2.0 and Google's standard access management process.
6. How Data Is Used
All data accessed through the API is used solely to provide services to the authorizing client. Specific uses include:
- Improving reporting accuracy and delivering structured performance reports
- Auditing account structure for gaps, inefficiencies, or best-practice violations
- Validating conversion tracking setup and identifying tracking errors
- Analyzing campaign and keyword performance to inform strategy
- Supporting keyword planning and research workflows
- Supporting campaign optimization recommendations
Any campaign changes generated by the tool are reviewed by an authorized Brothers Revenue GTM operator before implementation. No automated changes are applied without human review.
7. Client Authorization and Access Control
We access Google Ads accounts only with explicit client authorization. Our access management practices include:
- Access is granted by the client through Google's standard OAuth 2.0 flow
- We request only the minimum scopes necessary to perform authorized services
- Clients can revoke access at any time through their Google Account or Google Ads account settings
- Access is limited to accounts where a client engagement is active
We do not access any Google Ads account without explicit client authorization, and we do not retain access beyond the scope of an active engagement.
8. Data Protection and Retention
We treat all client advertising data with strict confidentiality:
- Google Ads data is used only to provide services to the authorizing client
- Data is not sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties
- Data is not used for training machine learning models or for any purpose unrelated to client services
- Data handling practices comply with applicable privacy regulations
Clients may request information about how their data is stored or request data deletion at any time by contacting us directly.
9. What the Tool Does Not Do
To be transparent, the following actions are out of scope for this tool:
- We do not create new Google Ads accounts through the API
- We do not manage billing, payments, or invoicing through the API
- We do not use the App Conversion Tracking and Remarketing API
- We do not sell, rent, or share Google Ads data with any third party
